How to avoid the user of my pc what i was searching for which appears in the web search icon ?

i don't want any to know what i searched for because it appears in the search icon when any one clik to start searching for something else

Click on the drop down menu at the search box. It should look like an upside down triangle. Yahoo's says 'clear', Google's says 'clear history'. Click on those. You should also clear your history by going to  Tools - internet options - then delete browsing history.
