  1. not to alarm you but my baby is 15 months and about 5 months ago every time i would feed her she would immediately throw up...i finally took her to the dr and she had swallowed a penny and it was lodged in her esophagus in just a way that she couldn't get anything else down except formula and soft foods...maybe it's time to talk to a dr....

  2. Anything that she can't fit into her mouth is fine. Here's the rule:  If it can fit through a toilet paper roll, it's too small. It's normal and healthy for them to mouth everything. It's another way they explore and learn about the world.

For the food issue, you could consult a doctor. Some women breast feed exclusively for 12 months, so I wouldn't panic about it just yet. The vomiting doesn't seem right though, so probably best to see a doctor.

  3. Dont worry your baby is not putting toys in her mouth because she is hungry it is a normal behaviour for a baby that young. At that age they love to taste objects and feel them in their mouths it is how baby discovers what they are. Your baby is just learning about stuff and that is good. I would recommend toys that are easy to wash. Make sure you do not give her anything small enough to swallow or anything that can break because she may then swallow small parts and choke. Most baby toys for that age group are designed so that they are safe for babies to put in their mouth but do keep an eye on it. You could give her different types of rattles- they also love sound. Maybe some little soft toys that you could put threw the washing machine for a clean every now and then etc. Just remember to regularly check her toys to make sure they are not breaking

  4. Give her lots of baby safe chew toys. All babies at that age put everything into the mouth and she is probably teething. Just avoid any toys that have small pieces that are choking hazards. As for other foods, she just may not be ready jet for other foods and that is OK as long as she is getting enough vitamins and iron in her diet. You can buy baby vitamins at any drugstore. Follow the instructions for how much to give her as an overdose can be dangerous
