How to avoid unwanted stuff in web page printing

Question

Hello,My machine is window xp home having service pack
2.I copy & paste web page in to ms word for printing.I am using
CANON PIXIMA iP 1300 bubble ink jet printer.All unwanted
formatting,images etc is also getting printed whereas I want to print
only text to avoid wastage of ink.I tried to avoid it but failed.Kindly
help me resolve this problem.Anxiously awaiting your valuable CLEAR
guidance.Thanks a lot.
