Question:

How to banish boredom and everyday schedules?

My summer vacation is almost over and I'm going into High School. For the whole school year I do this:

Wake up

Go to school

Go to swimming & clubs

Go home and do homework

Dinner

Go to bed

Ok, I just get bored so easily and it just seems so repetitive! Is there any way I can mix things up to not be bored this year? THanks, you rock!

  1. Mix in some time with friends!  School sucks.  And it's not the best place for some serious hanging out/relaxing time, so use your weekends.  No matter where you are, and trust me, I know, there is always something new to do.  Check out your area, and you might find some cool places that no one has ever heard of.  Freshman year isn't too awful once you figure out the homework routine, so you should have some extra time on your hands, and talking on the phone or online is better than nothing on school nights.

Also, I know it's hard, but if you can find something that you are really interested in, like collecting or some other hackneyed hobby, go for it.  Throwing yourself into everything you do can help to break up the boredom and make time pass a little more irregularly, at least in your mind.
