How do you clean a wild mouse? It lets me hold it, so just in case of germs I want to clean it of fleas or mites and dirt. It dosn't have rabies because rabies has not been introduced here (where i live). Can I use regualr flea and tick shampoo for cats? Just a teeny tiny bit?

  1. First I would take it to a vet just to reassure that he/she doesn't have anything else that is dangerous.

Afterward, use the gentlest kitten, or puppy shampoo out their and put him/her in lukewarm water. Use a Q-tip to apply it.

    Good luck

  2. I don't think that would be a great idea since the mouse will l**k and clean himself and may ingest the shampoo. if he is fine with this try using a spoon to put bits of water on him with a little bit of salt mix. then rinse him clean with water again.

  3. you don't really have to give baths because they clean them self's

  4. ok first of all ur not supposed to bathe any rodent because if any water gets into the ears it could infect them so if you want to still clean it take a towel and soak it completely and then rub ur mouse with it but don't use soap because that can really hurt there skin i no that sounds crazy but soap really does hurt there skin so anyways hope i helped
