  1. moderator of a yahoo group or yahoo answers?

    if it's a yahoo group, all groups are different and the owner appoints privileges to that person.

    if it's yahoo answers, I think it's more or less automated


  2. You become a moderator when the owner of the group appoints you.  There are no other qualifications.  You can ask the owner if you know him or her.
