  1. You should read and re-read again your speech aloud to yourself and make changes until you are confident that the text in the speech is exactly how you want it to sound.

Then you should practice reading it in frontt of your family or friends and larger groups of people, to boost your confidence.

This way, you will be confident in the speech - that it is good - and confident in yourself that you can read the speech well. :)

  2. practice makes perfect. there are even public speaking classes you can take at local colleges.

  3. To be a great speaker, just need to have confidence in ur abilities. Passion during speech is an important ingredient. An example is Hitler.

  4. just practice and try making a speech in front of your friends or family or even in the air

  5. trust in yourself

    be strong

    no shy

    no thing make u worry

    be brave

i'm sure that u will do it

  6. Eat chicken

  7. Be passionate about what you what to say because it will easily come from the inside and not your notes.  Reading notes is actually harder than speaking from your heart.  Use a sheet that just gives you "trigger words" for what is already in you to remind you of what you want to say instead of writing out your entire speech and reading it.

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.  Even video tape yourself so that you can see and hear how others see and hear you.  Practice in front of family and friends at least twice to learn to manage your nerves.

Drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine products.

Breathe!  Nerves will cause you to hold your breath and you don't realize you are doing it.

Use your pauses.  When you get nervous just pause a moment and it triggers yoru brain to remember.  Whateve ryou do, don't just keep talking.

Remember, don't be so hard on yourself because people don't know what you are about to say.  So what if you miss a point or go in a different direction.  The best thing to do is be natural.

If possible.  Use some humor to break the ice in the room.    Get audience participation by asking rhetorical questions and again if you mess up, make a joke out of it or something.  It's not the end of the world.

  8. The key to being a good speaker, is to be able to look at your audience of however many people and feel as though you are talking to one person you have never met.

So if its stage fright your worried about, Ignore the amount of people in your audience, but just speak sincerely and eloquently.

You can do it, be brave! Anyone can write a speech, just bringing yourself to make one in front of an audience is the problem. =)

    Good Luck! =D
