Question:

How to be a better test taker?

I study the material, but as soon as Im testing, I freeze up and cant remember the material.

  1. That's because you are not using an effective way to study and keep the materials in your brain for the test or may be as soon as you enter the test room you are nervous and you just gonna forget everything. Anyway, try to study a week before the Exam day and rereading and reviewing the materials two days before the Exam, do not wait the night before the exam to look over the materials for the first time!

    Trust me you are not gonna do well on the Exam!

  2. I thought I was a horrible test taker, until I realized that I wasnt at all. It was that I was a horrible "studier- I know it's not a word or aleast it dosent sound right". But you get the point, the way I was studying made me nervous because I memorized instead of read to understand. I usually postponed studying and keep it until the last minute. And when I did, I skimmed through the material. And when I got my test....guess what?? I froze up and failed. Until I actually started going to the library...removing all distractions (cell phones and lab tops off) and READ slowly and took notes, then that was when I started doing really well.
