How to be a cartoonist?

Hello I am 12 and I love to draw and also my friends&ppl around me tell me im pretty good. I've been making about... 50 cartoon strips like the ones in the newspapers. It's called office dog and I would like to put it in a newspaper someday. Right now it's very amatur-ish so could you guys give me some tips on 1) making all the characters identical on not-lined paper 2) how to ink good :P 3) how to get it published someday(?) and so yeah :D I know im just dreaming but just help me out plz XD

  1. You're 12 so it'd take a while. I'd like to see your works someday, if possible. to make your character identical all the time, make a character design. And decide which order you are going to draw it may be from left eye to right to face line to nose then hair (just example) you might want to do that for side view, under view, front view and upper view. 2. inking good is just practice. if you want to ink good, and you have very official drawing tool, you would have to tell use what kind of tool it is. if you just use pen, don't stay in one place long, just ink like you're using a brush.  3. if you want it to get it published someday, you have to have a good storyline and all. then you can go ask one of the on line community to post up your work. if you do, they'll most likely tell you about it. but at first don't start and go to a super big site. I suggest you make your own website and post it then tell everyone around.
