How to be a fun person to talk to?

In the least conceited way possible, I think I'm a really interesting person. I've been told by close friends that I'm really funny, and I know I'm very very smart. But even though I have lots of friends, I think I'm pretty boring to talk to. I'm an easy entertainer of my close friends, but when it comes to talking to someone I don't know as well, I think I'm pretty dull. And I know I'm not shy. Any tips?

Take interest in what the other person is saying even If you don't find it interesting. Stop thinking you're in anyway better than them even if you might be. Just talk and be natural about it. Try to be fun without being too insane about it and obvious. Instead of saying something like "Yes", maybe say "Oh h**l yeah". Things like that can really lighten up a conversation.
