How to be able to kick footy after running?

hi all, jus wondering if anybody got any good tips at being able to kick the ball after gaining possession and running off. i seem to be out of breathe and energy during the last quarter and my kicking isn't great then

  1. Just a bit of practice mate. I've been at it for over 10 years. If your only struggling the last quarter it may just be fitness and you might just have to use your last bits of energy and try your hardest every kick.

    If you're finding it difficult all the time it's just practice. Begin kicking at a slow pace. Then slowly build up the speed when kicking until its running. It'll become natural it's just you have to adapt to balancing whilst trying to kick when running at a pace.


  2. ive played footy only for two years but kicking while running is something ive struggled with from the start.

    when im running with the ball, i almost always handpass

    you have to get your timing right

    i just practiced a lot, and still its not one of my strengths

    but im ok at it
