Okay so I have this friend and me and her used to get along when we were really little, but recently like the last 4 years or so, it's been really awckward. We don't see each other too often, only like twice a year or so. It's just that I'm like a really into makeup, fashion that type of girl, and she grew up on a farm with 3 brothers so she's kinda tomboyish (wearing sweats , tshirts, jeans, no makeup kinda girl), so she's staying at my house and i dont know what we will do? I dont know how to act either. Also I dont know if I should have friends over when shes there or not. Any ideas? Please Help!?

  1. You will find that people from all walks of life will come and go from your life so it is something you will need to learn.

Be yourself.  Be aware that she may or may not care about the whole make up, fashion and all that jazz.  I would see how that goes before bringing friends into it.  If she wants to be a bit "girly" or has that go along with anything sort of attitude she may be okay with doing the girly girl sort of stuff.  But you may totally alienate her so maybe leave friends and the makeup / fashion stuff for a day or two.  (You are her  host so dumping her for your day-to-day friends is pretty rude)

Hang out.  Grab some movies (go for anime - Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle, Tales from Earthsea - not too girly or boyish).   Go for walks.  Do gender neutral things like the zoo, planeterium, amusement park....

  2. i wouldn't invite anybody else over because may be she would feel uncomfotable. u can just talk about the past 4 years and how its been growing up for the both of you. ask her about what she likes to do and may be you will like some things she does even though your different types of people. try to make her feel at home. i think that you would be able to have a good time even though you are 2 diff. peopel =]]

  3. no, just take her out to a movie or something.

  4. BE YOURSELF!!

Most of my firends are boys/tomboys. It's not to hard to get along with us. We're tha same as anybody else, except the whole makeup thing. Makeup creeps me out a bit. So that's the only thing I wouldn't suggest.
