How to be cleaner??

I want a new clean me. I don't shave a lot, my room's a mess, my room smells of old socks and stuff, and I know it sounds gross, but how can I become "at peace" with myself? How can I be clean, and feel clean and confident about myself and be "at peace"??

  1. ahhh, billy.  i've got some ideas for you.  first, clean out the stuff you haven't looked at in 6 months or more.  organize what you want to keep in see-through containers stacked up in your closet.  ask your parent to take old clothes to good will.  keep only what you wear.  then get 3 things.  1gallon of fresh light colored paint [&roller]--- 1new laurdry basket for laundry set in your closet---and a box for new 'junk', also in your closet.  go through it every month so that you don't have a new mess to deal with.  if you do a good job painting and organizing, maybe you can get a little plug-in of your favorite scent.  a light blue or green can be very relaxing and peaceful.  open your window a bit and let some fresh air in.  enjoy.   for yourself......shower, walk,  swim, breathe, smile and love your family.

    it's kind of a stupid female oriented site but there are lots of tips and tricks on how to organize and clean a messy home/person.  it helped me i think it can help you.

  3. Okay, there are reasons why your room is a mess. Maybe you have too much stuff, or your closet and drawers aren't big enough. You need a specific place for everything, or your room will never look decent.

    The more stuff you can get rid of, the better. Toss out or give away all the clothes you don't wear. Any old books you're never going to open again? Delete! Be tough with yourself and get rid of everything you can.

    If you have stuff you don't use but just can't part with, pack those things up and store them in the garage or basement, with the boxes labeled. If your room is the only place for atorage, buy some 12 or 14 inch square boxes, all exactly alike, and fill them with stuff and stack them neatly to one side.

    You need some fresh air and sunlight in there, if possible. If you keep your curtains or shades closed all the time, start opening them.

    You need to have enough wastebaskets in there -- it has to be easy to throw things away.

    I repeat -- everything needs a place. Every pencil, pen and eraser; every shoe, every cap, every type of paper.

    And put some kind of hamper in there, and make sure it has an open top.

  5. start playing a little game with yourself,it only takes....minutes to do this.write it down for future reference.It really helps convince yourself.for example..Isay to my self.,i don't want to do the dishes but I know from the past it really only takes 10 min. includingwiping off the counter.It looks like a freakin mess but  i can get myself to do it that way.or...it only takes 5 minutes to put my clean clothes away,10 min. to put my makeup on etc. I would start with your room.A clean environment just makes you feel better.wash bedsheets,start a load of laundry sweep,febreeze curtains.that will make you feel better immediately then you can set a timer and spend 5 min. or less cleaning daily.trust me I used to be a slob and now I'm at peace as you say.

  6. Do  a massive clean up.  Have two piles, what to keep, what to get rid of.  Than each day do something in your room. (make a schedule   of chores) You will  than have a clean room,  have peace  with yourself and more time for yourself.  Get some new smell goods and take time out for you each day, that will too give you peace and you will feel refreshed.  Take care of yourself. (good  luck) With peace comes confidence.
