How to be less >>>>"CONCEITED"?<<<<?

i am a little shy when i first meet people and am not the type to really make the first move, this gets confused with being conceited or being "cold". For this reason I don't get many jobs and don't have many close friends. I almost never get what I try for... I am 19 by the way.

So, HELP?

Try to go out of ur little shyness and talk to ppl..i was like that soo long ago but who caress..just talk and try not to show that ur uncomfortable okey?

so yea just try talking to new ppl..they dnt noe ur shy so yea go for it :)

you better get over your shyness.. and if you really like something, you shouldn&#039;t wait for it, you have to make the move to get it.

Um, in order to seem less &quot;conceited&quot; you have to be ready to make polite conversation with people and look them in the eye. People tend to trust you more when you look them in the eye and if you make jokes or something they&#039;ll warm up to you better. I also don&#039;t make the first move but if opportunity strikes then you take it without thinking about what the other person is thinking about you. You shouldn&#039;t really try to be friends with everyone though, just feel out the people you like and the ones you don&#039;t based on their character traits. Same thing with business, at an interview remember to look the employer in the eye and give them a good handshake. My supervisor used to laugh at my dead fish handshake and told me that if your handshake is limp then the other person will think that you&#039;re snotty.
