  1. First of all, have to understand that Jones Jr was probably the most athletic boxer. He did stuff that only he could do and get away with, that is untill his speed and reflexes went.

But bottom line is, guys like Jones Jr and Ali had a lot of bad habits that they paid for later on.

Keeping your hands low, leaning your body back to avoid a punches, thus throwing you off balance, are things you should not copy.

Keep your hands up, use good lateral movements,  and use and work behind your jab, your most important weapon. Head movement is vital,  and being able to read and time your oppoent.

    Fundamentals are the most important.

  2. Allot of practice, throw punches from different angle, feint alot, and leave openings your opponent can see and wait for him throw at it then slip it and counter and move.

Watch some Sugar Ray Leonard or Roy Jones Jr, Parnell Whitaker was a master of the elusive style. It takes alot of practice to master and some are just naturally gifted at it.

  3. wear vertical stripes

  4. Wear weights, ankle and wrist, when you train. Also, practice using a speed bag a lot.

  5. Elusive? Do you mean as far as evasion?

Bob and Weave, keep that up.

And work on your feint! Feint with your eyes, your feet, subtle feints.

If you mean moving around the ring I'll edit my answer, be more specific please :)
