How to be perfect in debate?

Hi! friends kindly tell me, the suitable body language for debate competition and frequency of voice, the ascent and so on which are valuable for debate-evaluation.

  1. you must always be professional and straighforward and talk to the point keep it short but dont be rude be well prepared, confident and very alert. Believe in yourself and agree ONly to your argument i.e. what you are debating about. Debates are always opioniated so SUPPORT only one side and keep rebutal gentle and yet firm dont show agression or anger be professional and show everyone that U know wat u are talking about DO NOT LOOOK UNSURE for anything keep it simple and keep it real. IM very good at debates =) follow these tips and you will succeed =) HOPE THIS HELPS =) plz give me some points as i have never recieved best answer =( i really need it cuz i help so many ppl but they dont give me any points.

    P.S dont get too overconfident. as i said be professional and look and be prepared and practice practice practice. PRACTICE makes perfect. try to do your best  =) =) =) GOOD LUCK =) =D !!!!!


  2. Be more analytical than emotional. Pretend you are the Queen of the country you represent and that if you make a fool of yourself  you make a fool of your country.

    Practice more than your competition. Research more than your competition.

  3. -----Be CONFIDENT even if you don't have better points then the other person then just stay confident because the more you let your guard down the more points they get.

    -----Be PROFESSIONAL because it will seem more intimidating to the other person, the more intimidating you are, the less confident they get.

    ----- PRACTICE Every night for around a 1/2 hr. because the more prepared you are the more likely you'll win.

  4. All you have to do is find positive key details on your topic and be very undescriptive on your answers.

  5. Always speak from the diaphragm, do not constrict yourself from the throat.  

    Use hand gestures to engage the audience, such as the Kennedy thumb.

    Pauses in your speech can be extremely dramatic and can draw the audience into what your saying

    Try to make eye contact to make a statement personal.

    Those are some of the tips I use when I debate in Model United Nations

  6. Be positive dont bring down/dis/be mean to other opponents and be good, dont cheat, smile alot, talk only when needed, when being in a speech pause sometimes, for a short moment for people to take in what you are saying.
