Hi frnds.. i want to know how to be successful in the engineering program of 4 years so that i can become a successful engineer with a good job in my hand...

if u suggest me good sites for tat.. it ll be helpful...

  1. Work hard to get internships every summer you have off.  You will learn so much practical information that will put you far ahead of everyone else in your field.  

    Attendance is often not required in college but it is a necessity if you want to learn the material.  That same goes for homework, often not graded but if you don't do it, you'll be struggling come exams (i've done it and it sucks).  Engineering is not an easy subject, no matter the discipline, so be sure you have an interest in the material and not the money.


  2. Remember that, while it takes years of intensive training to be an engineer, it takes NO TRAINING WHATEVER to be an engineer's boss. Just ask any engineer's boss. Most of them have liberal arts degrees.

    The boss generally earns more than the engineer, of course. You might want to consider this little factoid when choosing your career.

    Don't forget to check the prospectus of the company to see if they have a glass ceiling. Just look for the names of the top management and count how many are female.
