  1. you pretty much have to be born Mexican, Indonesian, Indian, or in other words, you can't be as white as a lily when you're born. that's pretty much all you can do. Being Latina-Mexican-Cuban has always worked for me!

  2. Getting a mistic tan. And EVERYTIME you step out the door put a high spf but that makes you darker!

  3. You can try being born Mexican, it's always worked for me.

  4. There's no such thing as getting a tan without risking damaging your skin unless it's a fake tan.

I go to a tanning salon and don't use any type of suntan lotion or oil. I'm told you can also lay out in the sun, but in a tanning salon it's a controlled environment.

My plan is to use the month I bought at the tanning salon to get a base and then lay out in the sun until it gets too cold to do that. If I'm not tan in the winter, big deal. I will go back to the tanning salon for a month in the spring, and then lay out in the sun some more.

Mystic Tan seems like a great idea, but it only lasts about a week. Same with most spray-on or self tanners. When you change the melanoma level in your skin (tanning for real) it will be at least a little bit permanently changed. Gradual tanning lotions that you put on daily work well and are fairly inexpensive, but I can never seem to get an even "tan" with those.

I would say it is safer to go to a tanning salon than lay in the sun because it is a controlled environment and professionals can tell you what it is you need to do.

  5. there is no way to do that but you can use tanning products like sprays i have something called a tantowel and i ordered it off qvc and it works really good it dosent make you orange like most do.
