How to beat altitude sickness while running? ?

I ran about three or five miles five days a week in New York over the summer. But now I'm back in Denver, Colorado a mile high and I can hardly run one and a half miles. I've started cross country, and my high school team goes way faster and longer than I can manage. How can I beat the altitude faster than normal? I've also had trouble eating because I feel nauseous. I've been drinking a lot of water also.

  1. There are some medication or also I heard that caffein works for that too

  2. Try taking motion sickness medicine before you run. Take it easy. Your body is adjusted to the flat surface of New York...if you give it time, it should start to adjust to Denver. Honestly, don't rush it!
