How to become a California insurance agent?

hello everyone im making a huge turn in my life and i really want to become an insurance agent that sells all kinds of insurance .please help how and where to start!?

I'd advise you start by working for another agent, who can teach you how the business runs.

You have to pass a variety of tests to get the licenses, and then you have to find companies willing to let you sell their insurance - pretty  much impossible if you have no experience, as 95% of agents wash out in the first year.

So, find a local agent, see if you can work for them and use their contracts for a commission split - they keep half the commission, you get to use their contracts, AND they provide the servicing and training.
