  1. Neuroscience usually requires a PhD to do any meaningful work.  A good undergraduate is Neurobiology (Colgate University is great for that), or else Biochemistry.  As a PhD student, you would get your tuition paid plus you would a stipend for teaching or doing research.  Following graduation, depending on your grades and research abilities, you could average $100,000 or so after a few years, but the salaries vary widely depending on where you work.
