  1. Well no one starts as an anchor (at least not in the US). A B.A or B.S. in Broadcast Journalism is required by most news directors in the reporter hiring process. After a few months or years in the field you might get a shot at anchoring. It depends on market, your news director and talent.


  2. Mass Communication major in Journalism perhaps.

    i think you'll have to start from the beginning which does the interview/research or documentary/editors or writers before they can see if you can handle being a news presenter.
