How to become a lawyer in USA, being a lawyer in a foreign country? Venezuela.?

  1. To become a lawyer in the USA you normally have to have at least a Bachelor of Science degree, or a four year degree that is similar - then you have to take a required number of "law school" classes before graduating (usually another four years)- which will give you a Juris Doctor degree.

    After you have met these requirements you have to apply for "Admission to the Bar" , be interviewed as well as approved by the Bar Committee, and then take the States "Bar Exam" - ranging from 1 - 3 days depending on which state you are taking it in - and pass it!

    After that you are "certified" to practice law - usually by the Supreme Court - (or a Court  in the State that you passed your Bar exam in that has been appointed and selected for this purpose.)

    I can not answer for any other country as I only practiced Law in the state of Ohio. -
