  1. I doubt you can get much info on paragraph long answers go into:

    willflyforfood.cc

and look around, go into websites. This question has probably been asked and anwered thousands of times.

  2. All you have to do is think your Gods give to the world.  Oh yea and be a jerk.

  3. Spend LOTS of money.

Get low paying cargo pilot job to get your hours.

Get lower paying paying airline job

    hee hee

  4. Lessons at your local airport should get you a private pilot's license.  Some airlines hire pilot trainees.  The Air Force and Navy also train pilots.

  5. REALLY???  Why dont people just google some of this stuff.

  6. As someone above mention on joining an Air Force is definitely a good option if you are looking for economical training. Because what happens is, when  you join the Air Force you already have flying experience. All you would need thereafter is the Civil Pilot ratings. Private, Instrument and Commercial. Flight training to be Civilian Pilot is not that hard if you are really in to flying. I would recommend if you can go to your local airport and find a Private Flight school.

Being a Pilot is something that you SHOULD take training abroad and NOT in India.

My personal experience say that, if you aren't gonna finish up the training in time, Indian Flight Instructor would just add flying hours in your logbook even if you haven't flown for that amount of time.  Now, that is overall lose to the students. Because every time we step between that Yoke our life is at stake unless we have gone through Extensive training that United States offer.

Taking training abroad WILL be a PLUS point when you apply for Pilot job back in India.(Reference- My Own Plans).

Let me know if you need anymore help. I got you previous message as well and I will respond to it this evening with some "Sukun".

    Good Luck.

  7. Join the Air Force

What is the first step to becoming a pilot?

Decide what you want to fly. FAA’s rules for getting a pilot’s license (certificate) differ depending on the type of aircraft you fly. You can choose among airplanes, gyroplanes, helicopters, gliders, balloons, or airships. If you are interested in flying ultralight vehicles, you don’t need a pilot’s license.

You should also think about what type of flying you want to do. There are several different types of pilot’s licenses, from student pilot all the way up to airline transport pilot. The information below describes the eligibility, training, experience, and testing requirements for Student Pilots, Recreational Pilots and Private Pilots.

If you didn’t find what you need above, please contact your nearest FAA Flight Standards District Office. For information on piloting careers, including job outlook and rates of pay, visit the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

  9. Call around to some local airports and see if they have a flying club. Joining a club that owns its own airplane(s) will often save you a lot of money on lessons.

Start off by getting your Private Pilot's certificate which will cost around $6-7000 and take you around 6 months of training on average. You must complete a minimum of 40 hours of training with an instructor (most people take about 60), a ground school course (in person or on DVD), a written exam, a flight physical, and finally your check ride.
