there should be a specific number for your locality, if not, contact ur local human services. also be prepared for lots of checks and paperwork, and if u can have id docuements, etc ready it will move much faster.  good luck and god bless

contact your county human services department, you need to go through a background study, and the social worker would like to see your home to make sure it will meet the needs of the child, you don't need a lot of money, you don't need to be married or own a  home either, fostering is a great thong, we are doing our paper work tomorrow as a matter of fact, also you can look on line for adoption resources and usually there will be links with information about fostering, the best of luck!!!
