But you could keep trying. You could also try to speak to someone in Human Resources about the specific requirements for the position even though there are no current openings... See if you could get an informational interview... to get information about the position.

I'm sure you could also submit your resume, or get the proper training that would help you land the position (if that's where you are in the process).
