Ok, we'll i'm 13 and tomorrow i'm taking a course to become a soccer referee with my friend. I've never played soccer but i've watched my brother play on travel and rec teams for 6 or so years. My friend plays on a soccer team though. I'm getting worried that i wont pass the test or i wont understand some of the terms.

If anyone has any tips or can share an experience that would be really helpful.

thanks you guys! :]

  1. I'm not sure which kind of soccer your refreeing for. But I think that if you make it, then they will give you a booklet with info on how to referee. Ask you friend for advice. Don't worry if you don't pass.

  2. THE QUESTIONS ARE SUPER EASY BUT U GOT TO GET ABOVE 85 PERCENT TO PASS.. SO DONT GET WORRY IF U SEEN SOCCER GAMES U'LL BE OKAY..

  3. It depends on what course you are taking. If you are taking the 18 hour USSF (US Soccer Federation) Grade 8 course you will need to take a test (75% I think). If you are taking the AYSO course you also need to take a test and must get a 75%. Go to the USSF web site and download the 2008-2009 Laws of the Game.

  4. There are usually classes you can take that are 4-8 hours long and then you take a test.  But they are usually very lenient with the test and sometimes let you test in groups
