  1. A SUCCESSFUL INSURANCE AGENT IS A DEPEND ON PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE, WORKING OUR, CAPABILITY, ATTRACTIVE PERFORMANCE & ANY TIME JOINT A LINK.

  2. I read a book called Power Position Your Agency, which is really short, that gave me some good ideas.

The guy who wrote it is Troy Korsgaden.  He is like this "super mega agent"  for Farmers.

There are even some scripts in the back of the book.

  3. You have a lic what state?

lots of hours good location  lots of cheap adds specialize in starter drivers it's lots of work but they will take ins from anyone you get them approved by. hint!!

most have bad records so you make a lot of small amounts so it's work.

  4. It doesn't matter whether you sell insurance or you sell sea shells by the sea shore, the important consideration is a total belief in the features and benefits of what you are selling. Use integrity to solve a need and the money will follow. You don't have to do any one thing in order to get clients and/or grow your business. Do whatever it takes to get your name out there. Target your sales efforts on the target market of people who need, want, and/or can afford your insurance products. Ask for referrals from satisfied clients. Add on new products and services. Network with other successful agents. Read as much about the industry as you can. Insurance doesn't usually sell itself. You have to give the features and beneifts of the products and help people see that you have the solutions to their needs. Partner with estate planners and financial advisors who can refer clients to you and for you to refer clients to them. It's a tough and competitive industry so make sure you know what you're doing and what you're talking about. Then get clients any way you can... talk to employers, talk to employees, talk to professionals, and make yourself available to book appointments and consultations. Don't badger people ... don't be afraid to move on.

  5. My suggestion is trying to get as much as information as you could before making any decision, here is a good resourece.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...

  6. A successful agent starts at the bottom with nothing and digs and claws their way up the ladder of success. Do you have a P&C license? That's where the money is at. Nobody can afford life or health insurance anymore but people will always need auto and home insurance. I'd suggest becoming and independent agent so you can represent many companies and have a company that suits every ones needs.
