How to become a wood turner, carpenter/cabinetmaker or glassblower?

I am searching for information on how to become a wood turner, carpenter/cabinetmaker or glassblower (industry/research). Are there schools / trainings centers? Are there a national associations that I could contact?

I suggest you post this question in a section other than special education.  This section deals with cognitive and developmental disabilities and the methods to educate those with such difficulties.
