Hi, I am a 13 year old girl from the USA. I have a huge dream of being an Olympic swimmer. I am a pretty good, fast, swimmer, but I was wondering if there are any ways to achieve this huge, meaningful dream of mine. Any help is always appreciated!

  1. do everything your coach tells you!

when it comes to race day make sure you keep a straight mind and focus on the task

also the best way to be scouted for the olympic team is by achieving the qualifying times for the trials

  2. Dedication and Commitment! You need to train a lot. I have friends that are swimmers and they get up at 4:30 every morning and go to their local pool and train with their swim squad, go to work/school and then train again in the afternoon/evening. You need to live and breathe swimming it has to be your passion. Join a swim club. I don't know how it is in America because I'm from Australia and there are lots of swimming clubs over here, but maybe check websites for local swim clubs/squads or call your local swimming centre and find out if they have a swimming club you could join.

  3. go to all your practices and try really hard in all of them and do whatver your coach tells u like if he tells u to sprint then sprint!

    SWIMMERS UNITE!!   lol

    GO MICHAEL PHELPS!!!
