  1. You will need to go to another country.  The US may not be the best choice as you need to have a green card to work as an actor here.

  2. It's NEVER too late to start an acting career. Even if you go to America and you're 49 years old. Right now, I would suggest getting experience in school plays, drama groups, theatre etc. Once you think you are confident enough get an agent. Search for agencies in wherever you are. If you can't find an agency then I suggest you just keep building yourself up with experience and training. This all looks great on a resume so once you get to America you could get one almost straight away. An agent will get you auditions for movies etc. But be careful, there are SCAMS out there which only care about your money, so if any agency asks for to pay money for them, THEY ARE A SCAM. An agent only gets about 10 - 15% of what you earn, so choose an agency wisely.

You will need a headshot and resume to send off to an agency. A headshot is basically a professional looking photo of you in front of a blank background. A resume is a document that has all your training, talents, experience, special skills etc down. If an agency likes you, they will call you and you will become their client.

REMEMBER without an agent you can't audition for ANYTHING unless they have an open audition which is rare. So basically, make your way up until you think it's time to take the next step.

Good luck and I wish you a successful career! ;)

  3. Well, unless you have some type of theater (community, school, etc.) near you you don't have many choices.  You can look into auditioning for reality shows, but you can't get blood out of a turnip.  In other words, it's probably not going to come to you--you need to move to where you have a chance of getting into the business.  Acting school is probably a good first step.
