How to befriend a wolf enough on the sims 2 pets PC, to adopt it?

i have one of those help books and it tells you if you befriend a wolf enough, you can adopt it, ive had the wolf 100% like me in both ways, life-long and the other way, cnt remember hehe. how do you get to adopt a wolf because i love wolves and would love one as a pet

You can first of all only adopt a wolf, not a leader of the pack (one with glowing eyes). If it is a normal wolf all you should have to do is click on it with your Sim, and choose "adopt" on the interactions menu. If it's eyes glow, this can never happen. Hope that helps :-)
