  1. Give them 3 chances saying "that's 1 ... that's 2 ..."  If they still don't stop, hit them as hard as you can.


  2. Once in a while, show them why it's not a good idea to.

    Being thought of as crazy with a long fuse can be useful.

  3. Be thankful that they are giving you the opportunity to cultivate the rare virtue of patience.
