Please help. Are blankets and towels really the best option, or should I maybe get a sleep mask...I've never used one. Neighbor's back porch light shines in my bedroom window...comes through top and sides of curtain edges. Help please. Creative? Sucessful Ideas? What have you done please that works? Are there any new (inexpensive) items in the market. God Bless you and thank you for your help. :) PS I'm sometimes having trouble sleeping...and also the heat. Helpful tips are appriciated. Thank you very much and God bless you. :)

  1. Ummm, get larger curtains that go a little past your window??

    Thats what I did.

  2. Foil or cardboard work well but are ugly. A good outdoor awning might also work.  Try planting a thick tree or shrub in front of the window.

  3. God bless you as well put in some blind then put up dark curtain's with extra lining in them get a air purifier for sleeping at night good luck

  4. Buy some blackout lining from a store which sells curtain fabric and tape it to the frame. If you want to take it down during the day you could maybe pin it, or if you sew, make hems top and bottom and put stretchy wire through.

  5. Reynolds Wrap....Foil. or maybe a BB gun. JUST KIDDING.
