How to block spam messages on my mobile phone?

I am getting regular spam texts from a dodgy church but reply is to "Royalhouse:" but no number so I cannot text back as there are invalid characters. I have no idea how they got my number. They are driving me mad. Can anyone help?

Contact your Phone network provider and ask them to block the messages. They will probably need to know the time that these messages provide to track the sender.
