  1. Hiya sweetie. Confidence is such an annoying thing! Some people say you're born with it, others say it's the people around you that affect your confidence. I think it's both.

Either way, you need to accept, that people in your school shouldn't make you feel less worthy of speaking up, or less confident.

First you should know that you are YOU. Your individual, special, and EQUAL to all those confident people at your school. Therefore, why shouldn't you also act confident at school? Be aware of the fact that you can 'pretend' you are confident, then eventually become confident.

Now, yes, right now, think of all the amazing qualities about you. Maybe your really kind, care about the enviroment, have great hair. Anything! Maybe you bought your mum that bar of chocolate the other day. All these things make you you. You're amazing, why not show the world?

    Good luck. Hope I helped!

  2. to build your self confidence, you have to work on things that will be building blocks for your self confidence...which basically means you need to do good things for yourself, say good things to yourself, and avoid those things that will bring you down...

exercise, try to eat healthier, get a new haircut, get a manicure, dance to some cool music by yourself and laugh at yourself! learn to love who you are!

now heres where ppl will disagree with me, but i dont care, because it is true...low self confidence generally comes from how we view ourselves physically!...i know it sux, but dress up anyway! get up an extra hour early, and do your hair, put on some make up, wear heels, flaunt your personality through your fashion sense, w/e your preferences are! put in the effort to look good, and you will feel good, and you will feel more confident a/b just being yourself!

  3. Affirmations. Write them out every night before sleep at least 3 times  (the more the better but it takes 3 for it to imprint and a minimum of 21 days.

Affirmations are a form of self-hypnosis and reprogram your sub-conscious mind replacing old negative feelings of insecurity with self-confidence.

Here are a few I would recommend.

You can also add your own if you wish but be careful to  use the positive for instance you say you want to be more confident and less nervous you would phrase it this way:

I am feeling more and more confident everyday.

I feel more and more at ease about myself everyday.

I feel more and more relaxed in social situations.

I look fowrward to being in school and meeting new people.

I am a beautiful and intelligent person.

    I feel good about myself.

I am worthy of love and respect.

I am a pleasant and kind person.

I carry myself straight and proud.

    I walk with confidence.

    I smile a lot.

I like myself. People like me.

    People enjoy my company.

    I enjoy going to school.

I feel more and more comfortable in social situations.

I feel more and more at ease being around people.

I always know the right thing to say and the right thing to do.

People like to be around me.

People feel at ease around me.

I feel more and more at comfortable around people and other students.

I am friendly and I make friends easily.

I have a good sense of humour and find things to laugh about every day.

I notice good things about people and tell them.

I feel good about life. Good things always happen to me.

I attrack good situations and good people.

Things always seem to work out for me.

I accept people as they are and feel comfortable about myself.

Do these every night minimum of 3 times before sleep and you will start noticing a difference within a few days.

  4. just see the good qualities you have and ignore the bad ones.

  5. hypnosis will help greatly with this issue..

  6. When you wake up, TELL yourself you're confident- aloud. Even if you don't feel it.

Also, I find that the clothes I wear plays a big role on my confidence so find clothes that you feel comfortable in and know they look good. (Make sure you're COMFORTABLE in them)

And be outgoing- don't be shy to talk to new people.
