How to break car lease agreement ?

I am leasing VW jetta for three years lease agreement since eight months ago unfortunately, I am not able to keep up with the payments and plus considering moving out California and I would not be needing a car where I go, Can someone please help me with any options if any are there.

  3. You need to take a look at the contract that you signed with the dealership. More than likely there is a clause that explains the process of turning the car back in early. This usually consists of a large fee that you would be forced to pay them. This is a major reason why leasing a car is an extremely bad idea. Good luck but I think you are going to get majorly screwed however it works out. Next time you go looking for a car don't do a lease. Just buy a cheaper car.

  5. First, find out what is the penalty for getting out of a lease early. Or find someone that will take the car notes over also with Bank note.

    I lease all the time.
