  1. Hi Jayde,

Like the other answerers said, you can use something of a similar height in a convenient and spacious location.  Also, it helps to just do things without a barre, because a lot of dancers rely heavily on the barre and are often shocked when I get rid of the barres in my class.  It build control.

If you're willing to spend a little money for a worthwhile investment (that trust me, you will use for many years), you can buy a portable barre online for home use.  Check it out:

I admit that they are a bit of an investment, especially for a kid or teenager, but if you work hard and maybe do some reselling as a mini-fundraiser, you'll get the money pretty fast.

Good luck and hope this helped.  Remember, you can always feel free to contact me with further questions♥

  2. just use something in your house that is a similar height.

  3. umm how about using something you already have in your home .. like a kitchen worktop ... i use to use it when i had my ballet exams coming up .. just find something thats roughly the same height as a ballet barre you only really need it to rest ur hand or leg on  .. good luck in your exams :D ...xx
