  1. Are you ready to spend around $100,000 or so on equipment?  Production of H2 by electrolysis of water is simple.  Collecting, compressing and storing it is where the big bucks come in.  That's why nobody's doing it.

  2. Do not try to build your own hydrogen generator. You will blow yourself up.

You can buy a generator that uses household current to produce hydrogen in your garage, and the compressor and storage tanks.

That is much safer than trying to make your own equipment.

  3. level 3 baby level  3 whooooooaaaa!!!!

  4. It is very expensive and DANGEROUS. H2 is explosive.

Have you ever heard of a battery explosion? When you charge batteries, they will produce Hydrogen. It is a very small amount, but put a heat source there and it will explode.

  5. takes more energy to make it than it produces..you need free energy like sunlight, geothermo to make it,,right know the counrtys with natural steam vents on the fault lines will be the major players in hydrogen production for the world

  6. I am no car expert but if that was possible EVERYBODY would have it.

  7. just to clarify:

hydrogen fuel cells do not run on water.  they run on hydrogen which is usually produced by extracting it from oil or by sending electricity through salt water.  when burned, the hydrogen reacts with oxygen to produce water.  you could burn the hydrogen like you would regular gas, and it has been done, but you would need a special (extremely expensive) engine to do that.  fuel cells instead burn the hydrogen to heat a special piece of metal electroplated with platinum which is also extremely expensive.  also, hydrogen is extremely expensive because nobody has created the facilities to create it, and to be cleaner it would have to come from renewable sources, so hydrogen cars are very impractical, at least for now, until the price goes down.

I think there are also cars that run on combinations of water and gas, but I think it can destroy your engine so I wouldn't try it.

im pretty sure this is accurate...

  8. It's easy.  All you have to do is run a wire from the positive side of your battery into your gas tank, then start the car up and slowly add water to your tank..

  9. well,

you have to wait till technology produces economically viable engine  and flowsheet.

    thnks
