I have thousands of feet of wire. So, please do not say, burn it or small sections with hand helds and/or a razor knife. There has to be a way to build one, even if it works "ok."

  1. In copper recycling, where old wiring is unsheathed and the copper gathered...

Wire is fed through a hole that is proportional to the wire gauge.  Inside the mechanism, there is typically a blade that cuts the sheath lengthwise, rather than around the circumference as traditional strippers do.  Larger wires are cut down into 18" to 24" strips and fed through.

    Hope that helps a bit.

  2. I have the same issue with wire from # 12 to 750 mcm. I am looking for an industrial stripper if you find anyone how sells them please contact me.

    Thank you
