  1. First thing is to figure out how detailed a project it should be.  Is it for a class on construction methods, and you need to simulate a particular construction method, or is it just figure out any way you can to build a scale version of a house?  If its intended to show the construction method, see what you can get that would approximate the look and scale of the materials you would use if you were building a real house.  For instance, a regular "stick built" house that you might find in the american midwest, is usually built with wooden studs, plywood sheathing and flooring, and vinyl siding and asphalt roofing.   So you would need to get ahold of some source for the wood studs, something that will be manageable and affordable at the scale you plan to build your model.  You can get balsa wood at a hobby store, but be sure to price that option before you commit to that strategy.

I agree that glue is probably the best method to assemble the project if its made from wood.

So, figure out the scale you plan to use, then draw out some plans and count up the amount of each type of material you will need.  then scrounge for or get the money together to buy materials, and then go for it.  If you build it with wood, I would recommend using a mainstream wood glue product, rather than a general purpose glue.

    good luck!

  2. ice cream sticks and glue. they'll help loads. I dun really know at what level you are so i suggest that you do this idea if you 15 and below. More than that you probably need a more sophisticated idea.

  3. you should get some people to tell you how to make who know how to build it, if you have to do by your self just ask

  4. Go to a hobby store and buy 1/8" balsa wood sheets (usually about 6" wide, whatever), plan your house and cut/glue together. You can cut windows and doors before you assemble. Paint and you are done. Use an exacto knife to cut the balsa wood with.....this is, by far, the easiest way to do this. You can use sewing pins to hold the wood in place while the glue dries. Good luck
