My son is 9 years old and likes to skate half pipes, pools, and a little street. How do I build a skateboard for ramps and pools, and one for street. He has one element 7.5 deck and a plan b 7.75 deck. Tell me what board size he should be using and what wheel size etc... Give links if possible.

  1. The guy above me is all wrong, for vert you need large wheels, i would recommend spitfire 54mm or so, reds bearings, the deck should be 7.5 - 7.75 and no larger for him, and some tensor lows would be good. by build him a board i hope you mean buy him a setup because if you mean actually build one from scratch, good luck...the final product will suck.

  2. make him do it him self, its costly and its alot of hard labor, and he should be using a board, the only size they come in, and small wheels for vert, big for street
