How to build a small (RC cars like) intern combustion engine?

HI, I would like to know if it is possible to build my own (small) intern combustion engine. Actually I want it for converting an electric RC car into a real one but I would like to build it without buying everything done.

Do you know any link where I can learn (perfect if it is a guide) how to build a small intern combustion engine?

Building a real engine as compared to an R/c is quite a task.... and it is like the man stated-- if you are not qualified as a mechanic than I would not even go there

I do not think anyone has ever built a REAL engine that SMALL... I do not even think it is possible

You need a machine shop,and knowledge of use in milling machines,laves,drill presses,surface grinders,OMG it's pretty much impossible unless you have your own machine shop and a lot of knowledge with what you're doing.
