  1. Keep in mind you aren't going to be running 16 minutes straight at a full jogging pace. How did your time stack up with the other players? Are you worried because your time was so much higher than the varsity players, or you just want to improve it even more?

There are ways to train endurance, but the cheapest and easiest of which is just going outside and running. Don't push yourself too hard, and make sure you are hydrating, especially with 2 a days.

    Good luck.

  2. When your muscles are sore, that means you really should have iced them before. Honestly, the only way to get better is to train. What you have to do is keep running. It's averaged out to be about 3 miles run by a person in a game of soccer. It's best to train whenever you can, even if it's with another sport like football. Training with a group of people always raises moral. Good luck.

  3. jump roping!!!

  4. Hey.

Yes I think it's a good idea that you go running by yourself in addition to training because the more you get used to long periods of exercise the easier you'll find it in training and the less you'll be in pain (because you're used to it).

If you are going to run every other day then I'd suggest you try to run for around 30 mins. The more you do this and the longer you can eventually run for, the more your endurance will increase.

Don't over-do it to start with but gradually improve over time. The only other thing for me to say if you're still dead at the end is to just be really determined to get through it and be tough to withstand what's thrown at you. If you do this and go running then it WILL get easier over time.

    Hope it all goes well.

  5. do some sprints and lunges. the way you get speed is a combo of flexibility and strength. so stretch everyday and also the base for running is the abs so do lots of different types of crunches
