How to build table for party?

Question

so i'm having some friends over tomorrow but i'm a pretty much broke college student with a pretty empty house... anyone have ideas on how to build something like a coffee table or know something i can use??? thanks!!!

We had a bookcase (many,many years ago) which was boards, and bricks stacked at the ends (and between the boards).....You can buy cinderblocks REALLY cheap at Home Depot (less than $1 each for BIG ones), but the top would be harder to find:)  Maybe you can find a big heavy, folded-up carton behind a store, and put that on top.  You can find plastic tablecloths at a $1 store, or use a sheet....

even if you have coffee table you must have enough chairs though not many.in a party they may like to sit and talk also. spread a beautiful spread sit in terrace if not hot and enjoy nature and party.if not convenient in terrace clean up the hall freely with lot of moving space and spread eye catching spread neatly. sit lie and enjoy as you like.cheers

You COULD go buy a plastic table from a place like Target or Walmart...use it, then return it.  I know that sounds horrible, but it would work!  Make your coffee table out of cardboard boxes...if you can find similar ones.  You could tape them together and drape a tablecloth over it.  You could check out any Goodwill or Salvation Army store.  They usually have tables for way cheap.  Good luck!
