hi,i am 24 years old and only 11 stone.i am also just under 6foot so i don't like the fact that i look so skinny.i used to be 12stone when i worked out but after stopping the gym,i lost the weight and muscle tone.I am also busy busy busy, so i don't have time for the perfect diet that my personal trainer planned out for me.i am still very fit,i do alot of running and swimming so i burn alot of calories.i am now wanting to return to the gym but know you have to be eating right to promote muscle mass.can anyone tell me if it is worth taking protein supplements etc?if so,what ones? and how much? i got told to stay clear once and just eat properly but i just don't have the time!

  1. just do it the natural way - fried sliced potatoes and pot pies (I prefer beef)

  2. you don't have the time to eat properly? or you won't make the time to eat properly? you don't build a house on sand, you build a house on a strong foundation, you don't build a strong healthy body with crappy food and a 5min workout.  You build a strong healthy body with a varied challenging workout which pushes you to the very limit and a balanced nutritious diet with lean meat and lots of healthy fresh vegetables and fruit, etc.  If you do those simple things then you will not need supplements at all.

  3. You have to make time instead of excuses. Bulking up is done with a healthy diet and good rest. If you prepare your meals the night before and carry a cooler with you everywhere you go, time is not an issue. You'll only need an hour or so a few times a week to actually work out. Prepping your meals is the key. You've got the diet from your trainer, now just figure out a way to make it happen instead of figuring out reasons why it doesn't.

  4. creatine. also eat alot of oatmeal and eggs and tuna(protein)
