How to bunny hop my bmx bike?

i can get my front tire up but cant get my back tire up plese help

  1. There are basically 3 parts to the bunny-hop.

    1. Compress

    2. Pull up

    3. Level out

    1. You want to stand up and be above your handle bars. Push down on your handle bars.

    2. Pull up as far as you can but not too far that you fall back.

    3. You want to bend your legs closer to your body and extend your arms in front of you. At this point your wheels should be parallel to the ground.

The first answer was good, but just to add:  put a bit of wrist twisting into it, and twist forward.  A bunny hop isn't really a straight up-down movement (this would be inefficient).  Instead think of it like a "bronco", most people do a wheelie type thing first but twist with wrists and then push down on the handlebars to force the rear wheel up.

  3. Ok I have a 38 lb bike and I can bunny hop 31 inches so I hopefully can explain to you! Ok when you do a wheelie push up and forward ant same time with it and one smooth motion your handlebars should do like 1/4 of an oval from top to bottom and you should land on both tires. Hope this helps.
