How to burn 700mb file to DVD to play on DVD player?

What is the easiest and FREE way to burn a 700mb movie file to a dvd and play it on DVD player? I want a completly FREE way...Please help...I just downloaded a 700mb movie and I want to burn it to a dvd...Is it complicated? THANKS!

if you bought it on itunes simply put a dvd into your  drive and open up the playlist where the movie is then in the bottom right corner click the button that says burn CD/DVD

Its only free if you already have blank dvds

If you downloaded an avi/mp4 movie file, and you use Nero to burn, you can use one of the programs that normally come with the software suite (some packages have power producer, some have Nero vision express).  You'll just be prompted for the location of the file and to put in a blank DVD-R disc.

If you don't have Nero, take a look through the installation CD that came with your DVD writer... they normally include some sort of software that burns DVD movies.

If however you just want a one off burn, try this software from which can be found in download.com

BTW, also take a look at your DVD player.  It's possible that it can play AVI and MP4 formats straight away.  Just burn the files into the DVD as regular data.
