Question:

How to burn A LOT of fat?

I want to know how I can burn a TON of fat in one workout (obviously in multiple workouts). Please do not suggest eating disorders, I am not looking to go down that path (for all the smart-asses out there). But, if anyone can suggest some really awesome workout routine/routines and/or a diet that will help me lose weight quickly, much obliged!

  3. eat small portions of what ever you usually eat...just make it small!!! it;s hard for like the first 4 days but you'll get used to it. if you can handle boring try jenny craig. it's not chocolate or good food but the portions are perfect...but if you're disciplined you could eat real french fries...but few! a meal should not go over 400 cals and during then entire day you shouldn't go over 1300!

    drink a crazy large amount of water...like a gallon or two per day.

    take multivitamins

    and take walks everyday...2 miles/30 mins. you could jogg if you want to but make sure not to go to fast cuz then you'll burn sugar instead of fat.

    and most importantly, depend only on yourself, no pills, no miracle programs and no workout buddies. as good as it may sound to a have some company in the whole thing, if your friend doesn't wanna go some day, you wont either and etc. you can do it!

  4. YOu could starve yourself.  But as you know that's not the healthy way to go about it.  Losing weight quickly only means you will gain it back quickly.  Slow and steady wins the race, as they say.

    Best thing is to cut back on your portions.  Eat more fruits, vegetables, take a multi-vitamin, drink lots of water and exercise daily.  The weight may not come of quickly, but it will come off in time.

  5. Contrary to popular belief, the quickest way to burn fat is through high-intensity cardio workouts, not low-intensity. Intervals are best. On a treadmill, for example, alternate 30 - 60 seconds of 95% effort with 1 - 2 minutes of 60% effort to recover. Repeat for at least 30 minutes.

A couple of years ago I was struggling to lose weight as well.  I was tricked into trying various fads and gimmicks too many times and my patience wore extremely thin along with my wallet.  I came across this oolong weight loss tea on in the internet, and I was very skeptical but they offered a free trial.  It helped me lose the last twenty pounds I needed to.

  7. gain muscle through calisthenic exercises with moderate cardio but eat 5 small meals a day mainly consisting of raw veggies,lean proteins and small amounts of carbs...

Have you ever tried Tae-Bo?  I used to do it 3-4 times a week before I got lazy. :)  The work out was like 30-40 minutes long and I would be dripping wet with sweat by the end.  And I was very fit at the time.  I've got to start working out again so I will do Tae-Bo again.  I also really like Pilates.  It gives you long, lean muscles but I dont know how it does with burning large amounts of fat/calories.
