How to burn a movie on to a dvd and watch it on your tv?

Question

I have a dvd writer in my computer but I don't know how to put a movie on the dvd and then watch in on the tv by putting it in the dvd player.

please help

You need a burning software. I recommend DVD shrink as it's very easy to use and produces good results.
